University of Applied Management Studies honours RENOLIT Group's human resources work
Team of experts certifies RENOLIT personnel management - University of Applied Management Studies honours outstanding performance
Worms/Mannheim, 25 November 2022 – At a festive event on 23 November, the RENOLIT Group received the university seal of approval for the successfully completed "Corporate HR Guidelines" auditing process. The award was accepted by Michael Kundel, Chief Executive Officer of RENOLIT, Markus Blümle, General Manager Corporate Human Resources, and Johanna Schlörit, Head of Employer Branding & HR Performance, at the University of Applied Management Studies (Hochschule der Wirtschaft für Management, HdWM) in Mannheim. Prof. Dr. Perizat Daglioglu, President of the HdWM, and Petra Höhn, Head of Continuing Education at the HdWM, congratulated the cooperation partner on receiving the award.
During the audit by experts from the HdWM, the Corporate Human Resources department of the RENOLIT Group underwent a comprehensive review. The Corporate HR Guidelines of the department were analysed and evaluated, including the guideline on the RENOLIT competence model. The guideline defines core competencies that are crucial for the performance of tasks for all positions in the company. They form the basis for the annual employee development meetings. The implementation of this was trained and practised on site together with the regional managers. A total of 30 workshops were held in 9 countries, at 14 RENOLIT locations and with over 250 managers.
Michael Kundel is pleased about the award: "With the implementation of international guidelines, we have set global standards. This is an important milestone for securing the future of RENOLIT and for our cooperation across national borders." Markus Blümle associates this award with an important confirmation of the globally networked activities: "We have succeeded in networking all locations with a thematically uniform framework and implementing the concepts adapted to the individual needs. Figuratively speaking, the seedling has now been planted - a deep root system will gradually grow up so that we can harvest the fruits of our labour in the future."
The University of Applied Management Studies confirms a high degree of maturity for RENOLIT's human resources department with the award. The concepts and guidelines are well-founded, structured and systematic. In her laudation, Prof. Dr. Perizat Daglioglu acknowledged RENOLIT's outstanding performance, high level of commitment and innovative way of working: "Excellent organisations value their employees and create a global culture that allows them to balance both the interests of the company and the interests of the employees. These organisations develop the skills of their employees to use their skills and knowledge for the good of the organisation and have leaders who consistently shape and realise the future."
