Team electrotechnology donates profits from safety competition to Worms animal shelter

Work safety and animal welfare - two topics that don't seem to have much in common at first glance. However, if you take a closer look, you will find an important common ground: without social interaction and a focus on the well-being of others, neither would be possible. This is how the RENOLIT electrotechnology workshop team came to demonstrate a high level of safety awareness and social commitment:

The Pro+Tekt safety competition is held at regular intervals at RENOLIT. All employees at the site are divided into teams and awarded points in various categories for safety-conscious work. The three best teams are honoured and receive prize money for a joint team event.

However, the electrotechnology team, the runners-up from the 2022 competition, decided differently. Instead of a joint event, they focussed on the social aspect. The prize money of 450€ was to be donated to the Worms animal shelter.
The donation was handed over on 3 April 2024. The cheque was accepted by Ms Seibel on behalf of the animal shelter's management, Ms Gumpert.
