RENOLIT donation projects 2015

Once again this year, the RENOLIT Group donates to charitable organisations at Christmas time.

Here you can find some more information about the donation projects:

RENOLIT SE, Worms donates to:

“Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund” (Refugee relief)

“Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund” is taking care for refugees who are living in seven refugee camps in Worms. The facilities are available for the refugees during the running asylum procedure. Furthermore, the “Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund” is taking care for socio-pedagogical support and is helping with visits to authorities.

“Jugendkunstakademie Worms” (Youth art academy)

The youth art academy in Worms fosters the artistic ability and potential of young people. Lecturer offering workshops in painting, drawing, printed graphics, paper and textile art, photography as well as web and media design.

“Clowns helfen heilen” (Clowns doing “medical rounds”)

Once a week clowns are visiting sick children in the hospital. With humour, fantasy, poetry and music the clowns try to cheer up the little patients and to contribute their recovery.

RENOLIT SE, plant Frankenthal donates to:

Frankenthaler Tafeln (Ecumenical association for homeless people)

There is food in abundance, in Germany nevertheless some people have to starve every day. The "Tafeln" are aiming to reach a balance in between these differences: They are collecting remaining food in good quality and give it to the needy.

Street Doc (Ecumenical association)

Street Doc is a cooperative project providing health care for disadvantaged groups. Doctors and dentists offer free medical care at social hot spots in the city of Ludwigshafen and surroundings of the town. This offer is for homeless people, asylum seekers or people without medical insurance.

Relief projects for children in need in Bavaria, Germany and worldwide.

“Freiwillige Feuerwehr Waldkraiburg” (volunteer fire brigade)

Supporting the youth fire brigade.

RENOLIT Cramlington Limited, Cramlington donates to:

Jessica’s Sarcoma Awareness

The family of a teenager who died from a rare form of cancer have promised to follow in her footsteps by raising cash to help sick children. Jessica Robson, of Cramlington, passed away in May following a near four-year battle with alveolar soft part sarcoma. In that time, not only did the 18-year-old bravely fight the disease, but she also raised over £28,000 for the Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT) and even set up her own charity called Jessica’s Sarcoma Awareness. Now her parents and sister have taken on the fundraising mantle, and since Jessica’s death have already collected another £26,000.

Red Cross organisation – Food kits for children in need

“Fundació Miquel Valls” – Employees of RENOLIT Ibérica, S.A. and the company collected donations by the “ice bucket challenge” for the Catalan ALS (Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) foundation “Fundació Miquel Valls“.
