Waterproofing not only to the roof but also the sealing of numerous penetrations and external equipments.

This project provides testament to the single ply industry and the building and construction industry working together at its best.
The Project Architect, Pick Everard in Leicester specified RENOLIT ALKORPLAN with the assistance of the manufacturer.
The project was reviewed on budget and delayed but the Architect remained in favour of single ply and RENOLIT ALKORPLAN despite the mention of liquid waterproofing. The developing complexity of penetration through the roof certainly created consideration of the latter.
Bowmer and Kirkland duly tendered and won the project and remained loyal to the specification.
Telclad Limited won the roof package and in undertaking the work they were faced with a situation whereby the main objective was to lay the waterproofing then subsequently seal around penetrations and equipment, the location of which was decided upon on a rolling programme.
Bowmer and Kirkland, their surveyor, Telclad and their installers all faced up to a difficult situation logically and responsibly.
Telclad liaised constantly, asking assistance of RENOLIT as and when necessary. Their professionalism was demonstrated not only in dialogue but also in applying waterproofing solutions to problems and the level and standard of workmanship.
The net result was the successful completion of a complex project to a very high and aesthetic standard accomplishing in RENOLIT ALKORPLAN single ply membrane an example of what is possible to achieve in this type of material.
