Sven Behrendt 1968 yılında Aşağı Saksonya'da Goslar'da doğdu. Clausthal-Zellerfeld'de 1996 yılında tamamladığı proses mühendisliği eğitiminin ardından uluslararası alanda çeşitli görevlerde çalıştı ve son olarak Klöckner Pentaplast'ta saha müdürü olarak görev yaptı. 2007 yılında Worms'ta RENOLIT'e katıldı ve burada Kurumsal Mühendislik merkezi biriminden sorumlu oldu. Executive MBA (İşletme Yüksek Lisansı) eğitimini 2015 yılında tamamladıktan sonra 2019 yılında Denetim Kurulu tarafından İcra Kurulu'na atandı. O zamandan beri, RENOLIT Group'un çeşitli merkezi birimlerine ek olarak, iş birimlerinden de sorumludur Protect ve Visual Communication.
Sven Behrendt, IVK Europe e.V. Yönetim Kurulu ve EuPC Yönetim Kurulu'nun onursal üyesidir. Ayrıca VDI e.V.'de de görev yapmaktadır.
Profesyonel ve gönüllü faaliyetlerinin yanı sıra bisiklete binmekten, golf oynamaktan ve dağlarda kış sporları yapmaktan hoşlanmaktadır. İki kızı ve eşiyle birlikte yemek yapmaktan ve sosyalleşmekten hoşlanıyor.
