2023-04-26 ⟩ On April 25, RENOLIT Nederland B.V. attended the Speed Date Event of the TU Delft Impact Contest and found talents and love for innovation.

RENOLIT Nederland B.V. is proud to support the TU Delft Impact Contest as a business partner. Collaborating with universities is an important element of our open innovation approach and for the scouting of ambitious talents for RENOLIT Healthcare that support our thirst for global collaboration, innovation, and our quest to became sustainable as a Circular Economy.

For the fifth year in a row, TU Delft is challenging students to further develop their innovative idea, prototype, business plan or research project within the network of the TU Delft Impact Contest. The main purpose and mission is to challenge students to create great, out-of-the-box thinking innovative solutions for societal problems and translate them into real products and business plans. The TU Delft Impact Contest makes students think about their passion and interests, and link them to companies like RENOLIT Nederland B.V., that operate in this area of interest. It is a great way for students and top employers to get to know each other, resulting in captivating, retaining and utilizing talent and stimulating innovation.

During the Speed Date Event on April 25, selected student teams had the opportunity “to date” with the business partners. Marie Bakker, Director of Development & Engineering at RENOLIT Nederland B.V. and Ferry Paap, Engineering Manager, had the chance to get to know four projects in more depth and were most impressed by a new concept for blood glucose monitoring. The remaining afternoon was filled with brainstorming, coaching and connecting face-to-face.

We are seeing forward to participate in the nomination of the finalists in May and the grand finale in June.
