Officepark B98 in Hannover shines in new splendor
For the modernization of Officepark B98, the company is relying not on paint but on foil - and on Facade Solutions, one of the leading providers of innovative facade solutions.
The renovation work on Officepark B98 in Hanover has been in full swing since April. In the process, the seven-story office building from the 1980s underwent a transformation not only on the inside but also on the outside: The redesign of the facade was undertaken by Facade Solutions, a business unit of the foil manufacturer RENOLIT, in cooperation with its partner CKT. Folientechnik GmbH.
In just a few weeks, the faded, dreary-looking beige of the 4,000-square-meter facade gave way to a modern mix of gray and anthracite in a metallic look. This top performance in a very short time is not only due to the decades of experience of CKT. Folientechnik, but also to the product used: RENOLIT REFACE.

This multi-layer facade film was specially developed for flat metal facades, HPL panels and aluminum cassettes. Its special strength enables easy application even in windy conditions - at the same time it is flexible enough to be applied around corners and edges.
But it was not only the quick and easy handling of the product from Facade Solutions that was decisive in the decision to foil the Officepark B98 instead of painting it - or even to completely replace the facade panels with new ones: Aspects such as sustainability and cost-effectiveness also played a major role. Because the films cling to facades like a second skin, they not only enhance their appearance - they also protect the material from further damage, prevent corrosion and prevent further soiling thanks to the specially developed surface. Thanks to the high weathering and UV resistance, facades stay like new for longer - for at least 10 years, Facade Solutions guarantees.
Processors also benefit from the manufacturer's innovative concept - in several ways. Since there is no spray mist during the foiling work, there is no health hazard at any time. This means that there is also no need for uncomfortable and expensive protective clothing or respiratory protection measures. The necessary preparatory work is also minimal: Edge areas do not have to be masked off, floor coverings do not have to be protected. There is no odor nuisance during the work - and no restriction on the use of the building, which is a particularly attractive advantage for owners of commercially used properties.
In all of this, Facade Solutions sees itself as a holistic solution provider for facade design: The company not only supports its customers as a competent advisor in questions of color and materials - Facade Solutions also takes care of the procurement and training of fabricators who ultimately implement the individual design wishes. The products used for this purpose, which can be used both in new buildings and for the renovation of existing properties, are manufactured by the parent company RENOLIT, which is headquartered in Worms, Germany.

But the completion of the first phase of construction in July does not mark the end of the collaboration: There are two more office buildings in the office park that will be re-clad in the coming months.
