SolShield (SST)

Outdoor components are exposed to the elements and must endure a wide range of conditions. To protect our high-performance films from excessive heat, we have incorporated SolShield technology, which is designed to minimise surface heating.
Functionality
SolShield's protective properties originate in the base film: the colour pigments reflect the sun's rays, reducing temperature development by reflecting them back. This shielding function decreases stress on the film, adhesive and profile.

SolShield prevents window profiles from heating up – even dark colours stay pleasantly cool. Less heat means less stress for the material. The end result: the profiles remain stable, functional and beautiful – even after many summers.
