    Sven Behrendt nasceu em Goslar, na Baixa Saxónia, em 1968. Depois de estudar engenharia de processos em Clausthal-Zellerfeld, que concluiu em 1996, trabalhou internacionalmente em várias funções, mais recentemente como diretor de instalações na Klöckner Pentaplast. Em 2007, juntou-se à RENOLIT em Worms, onde foi responsável pela unidade central de Engenharia Corporativa. Depois de concluir o seu MBA Executivo (Master in Business Administration) em 2015, foi nomeado para o Conselho Executivo pelo Conselho de Supervisão em 2019. Desde então, para além de várias unidades centrais do Grupo RENOLIT, foi também responsável pelas unidades de negócio Protect e Visual Communication.

    Sven Behrendt é membro honorário do Conselho de Administração da IVK Europe e.V. e do Conselho de Administração da EuPC. Está também envolvido na VDI e.V..

    Para além das suas actividades profissionais e de voluntariado, gosta de andar de bicicleta, jogar golfe e praticar desportos de inverno nas montanhas. Juntamente com as suas duas filhas e a sua mulher, gosta de cozinhar e de conviver.
