    As RENOLIT Group, we have embarked on an exciting journey to become more sustainable and make a positive contribution to people, our environment and our future.

    Our cross-divisional Sustainability Agenda as part of our joint ONE RENOLIT 2025 strategy is an essential part of this journey. It ensures that all areas of our company pursue a common goal and work together to make RENOLIT fit for the future.

    In order to determine the material topics for our company, RENOLIT carried out a double materiality analysis at the beginning of 2024.
    In the process, nine topics were identified as material for RENOLIT, the fulfillment of those topics will be described in the annual sustainability report and will form the basis for the Group's strategy.

    The topics are based on the European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS).

    Our definition of sustainability is based on the proven three-pillar model “People, Planet, Profit”. This model makes it clear that sustainable action is only possible if social, ecological and economic goals are aligned and pursued on an equal footing. It is our compass that guides us on the path to a more sustainable future.

    Demographic change and the associated shortage of skilled workers, new demands on employers from employees and technological transformation are challenges that RENOLIT is facing worldwide. Our employees are the most important asset in our company and enable our joint success every day.     Our Responsibility towards our planet.

    We as a group very well know our responsibility to the planet and do everything we can to use natural resources responsibly and sustainably. Due to our business activities as a production company, we use natural resources and there are emissions, greenhouse gasses, waste water and waste created. At the same time, we are affected by climate change in various ways: Heavy rainfall, shortages of water and resources, storms and heat waves all have an influence on our global sites with the buildings, production and the deliveries of raw materials and products.

    In our operational environmental management, we must reduce negative environmental effects and make a measurable contribution to environmental and climate protection.

    We are continually working on increasing the energy efficiency and an efficient use of resources. One of the most important steps in this is the establishment of a circular economy with our initiative RENOLIT Goes Circular.
