Dare to explore new horizons: RENOLIT presents Colour Road 26/27 under the theme of ‘EMBRACE NEW PERSPECTIVES’
RENOLIT’s new trend report invites us to discover colours as bridges between worlds, cultures and people, and to broaden our horizons.
Worms, 11 May 2026 – At a time increasingly characterised by polarisation and digital isolation, RENOLIT, an international manufacturer of premium plastic films and products, unveils its new Colour Road 26/27, offering a deeper exploration of the world of colour and design trends. Under the motto ‘EMBRACE NEW PERSPECTIVES’, the company presents colours not only as aesthetic design elements, but also as a transformative force. In this new edition, RENOLIT’s trend experts encourage readers to rediscover and revitalise openness and adaptability, and to challenge their established viewpoints. Through three multifaceted thematic worlds – ‘Soul Sanctuary’, ‘Roots of Memory’ and ‘Power of Unity’ – these new perspectives are brought to life through expressive colours that appeal to different levels of perception: the inner world, the shared world and the environment.
The first section of the Colour Road Trend Report 26/27 is the ‘Soul Sanctuary’ theme, which focuses on our inner world of personal and emotional experiences.
Here, colours become sanctuaries directly influencing our inner well-being. In an increasingly hectic everyday life, these shades act as sanctuaries for the soul creating an atmosphere of security and inner peace.Take ‘Ray of Light’, for example, a light, almost white shade with a hint of yellow. This off-white tone softens the harshness of pure white, evoking the first rays of sunshine on a misty morning and bringing tranquillity to the room through its purity and minimalism. Next is ‘Silence’, a muted violet with a classically cool blue undertone that evokes the quiet of the setting sun's final rays and elegantly balances warmth and coolness. ‘Flourish’ offers a warmer tone; its soft pastel orange is reminiscent of delicate cherry and apple blossoms, adding lively, uplifting touches. This world of contemplation is completed by ‘Aura’, a light, ethereal shade of blue with a hint of green. It radiates a palpable sense of calm and subtle coolness, allowing ideal combinations with neutral basic colours. Subtle oak, elm and walnut decors also make ideal interior design partners, providing a restrained contrast to the new plain colours with their smooth colour gradients and gentle grain. Clean lines and gently rounded corners complete this design range, offering relaxation for body and mind and creating oases of tranquillity.

As part of the ‘shared world’, the ‘Roots of Memory’ theme explores the cultural perspective and unifying power of colours within the contexts of time and memory. This colour palette draws inspiration from traditions, craftsmanship and local references that bring life stories and family lineages to light. Warm, earthy tones draw on our culturally shaped DNA, evoking feelings of home and creating a connection between the most diverse origins. The delicate, almost white rosé shade ‘Nostalgic’, with its subtle hint of yellow, is reminiscent of creamy summer milkshakes and brings a natural sense of familiarity to rooms. The medium beige shade ‘Hybrid’, reminiscent of sandstone, radiates an elemental feel. With its balanced yellow and red undertones, it creates a distinctly cosy and homely atmosphere that transcends fleeting trends. A bold encounter awaits with ‘Heirloom’: This bold, clear medium red is inspired by traditional Vietnamese craftsmanship and decisively draws the eye to create striking accents. Finally, ‘Echo’, a dark, cool anthracite, provides a sense of grounding. With its archaic depth, it absorbs light and appears approachable, elegant and serene – like echoes from the subconscious. With ‘Roots of Memory’, even progressive, creative product developments can be built on a tried-and-tested, high-quality foundation. Beautiful, timeless designs that combine nostalgia with modernity in our living spaces are created with oak and walnut finishes. Pairing these with the new plain colours creates a grounding, reliable ambience that exudes natural elegance and stability.
The third theme, ‘Power of Unity’, focuses on our environment and explores the social aspects of colour design. In an age of virtual connectivity, the importance of genuine connections, team spirit, and shared experiences is increasing. The intense new shades symbolise solidarity and trust. They strengthen communities and bring people together. ‘Thrive’ is an intense, vibrant green with a strong yellow component that is reminiscent of fresh seedlings. It exudes a natural, energetic zest for life that can bring whole rooms to life. Equally fundamental is the confidence visualised in ‘Circle of Trust’: a clear medium blue with a subtle hint of red and fine metallic pigments that radiates lasting calm and strength. The vibrant orange shade ‘Togetherness’ celebrates the spirit of shared experiences. Its contagious energy creates ‘good vibrations’ and tangibly connects people within a space. ‘Foundation’ provides the basis for this sense of togetherness. This muted, dark brown shade is iconic, symbolising a connection to the earth and stability. It fosters a sense of familiarity, thereby laying the groundwork for comfort and lively interaction. These new shades complement striking oak finishes with bold grain patterns and cool colour schemes in shades of grey or brown. Combined with the vibrant trend colours, they provide an effective contrast. To achieve a powerful and energising spatial effect, these energetic pairings require clear, cubic design.
