RENOLIT successfully completes divestment of RENOLIT Ondex S.A.S.
Worms (Germany), Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur (France), October 21, 2025 – Plastics processor RENOLIT has successfully completed the divestment of its French subsidiary RENOLIT Ondex S.A.S. to the American Industrial Acquisition Corporation (AIAC). The transfer of the Chevigny-Saint-Sauveur site near Dijon was finalized on September 30, 2025.
AIAC acquired the business with approximately 100 employees, that specializes in manufacturing and selling roofing and cladding solutions made from biaxially oriented plastic sheets, as well as roof sheets, gutters, and pipes for the do-it-yourself market. RENOLIT Ondex S.A.S. had been part of the RENOLIT Group since April 2006.
Acknowledging the positive overall development of RENOLIT Ondex S.A.S., the divestment decision was rooted in strategic considerations, also addressing the limited synergies with the broader company group. “The entire Executive Board would like to express its deepest gratitude to all employees of RENOLIT Ondex S.A.S. for their outstanding commitment and valuable contributions. We wish them all the best for their professional and personal futures,” says Karsten Jänicke, CEO of RENOLIT SE. “We are convinced that AIAC, as the new owner, has the right conditions in place to further develop the business of Ondex and strengthen the location in the long term.”
