Quality without compromise: Visual Communication market unit of RENOLIT SE introduces sustainable PVC film RENOLIT REVINYL
The Visual Communication market unit of the RENOLIT Group adds RENOLIT REVINYL to its portfolio - an environmentally friendly PVC solution with 50% recycled content that combines quality and sustainability.
8 October 2025 – The graphics industry is changing: the need for sustainable solutions for the point of sale is increasing. PVC remains a key resource. It is still the material of choice due to its high versatility, durability and printability. However, its future lies in another increasingly important property: its recyclability.
This is because PVC can be recycled up to ten times without losing quality. Every year, around 35% of PVC waste is recycled and converted into new products. One of these is RENOLIT REVINYL, the latest product in the portfolio of the RENOLIT Visual Communication business unit.

Quality without compromises
RENOLIT REVINYL was developed as part of the “RENOLIT Goes Circular” initiative and the company-wide sustainability strategy. It combines environmentally conscious properties with the convincing performance for which PVC has become known and loved. With a 50% post-industrial plastic content, it reduces the carbon footprint by around 25% compared to conventional PVC. This means that companies and their customers can make a positive contribution to environmental protection without having to compromise on the quality they are accustomed to. Despite its environmentally friendly properties, RENOLIT REVINYL offers the same advantages as conventional PVC: the colors printed on it are vivid and bright, making shop windows, displays and signage much more eye-catching.
The film can be printed without primer or topcoat - this saves resources and simplifies work processes. In addition to the matt white printing film, RENOLIT REVINYL is also available as a matt overlaminate that protects existing graphics from scratches and abrasion. Both variants are easy to form and are therefore also suitable for 3D applications. Thanks to their high resistance to yellowing and environmental damage, they are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. And they last for up to four years - an ideal solution for short or medium-term campaigns at the point of sale.
Part of a holistic sustainability strategy
RENOLIT, international manufacturer of high-quality plastic films and products, makes its contribution to sustainability - ecologically, socially and economically. This is reflected not least in the company's commitment to a circular economy that conserves resources while promoting recycling. In future, the focus will be even more strongly on sustainable materials that are processed into high-quality products using innovative methods.
“At RENOLIT Visual Communication, we want to actively contribute to the sustainable transformation of our industry,” says Ralph Gut, General Manager at Visual Communication. “RENOLIT REVINYL is a result of our commitment to more sustainable plastics, while delivering the high quality we are known for. For us, these aspects are not mutually exclusive - on the contrary, they go hand in hand.”
