Giving Back, Sharing Health: A Global Impact
In honor of National Food Bank Day on September 5, RENOLIT Healthcare’s global teams came together for the Giving Back, Sharing Health campaign. The result was a powerful show of solidarity, as each site supported local organizations with food, resources, and acts of service that make a real difference in their communities.
Why This Matters
Food insecurity is one of the most pressing challenges of our time. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), an estimated 733 million people faced hunger globally in 2023. The communities near our RENOLIT Healthcare sites are no exception:
- United States: Over 35 million people, including 10 million children, are affected by food insecurity.
- Chile: Around 3 million people face challenges accessing enough food.
- China: Up to 670 million people could be at risk of hunger by 2030.
- The Netherlands: More than 450,000 people lack consistent access to food.
Against this backdrop, our campaign reflects RENOLIT Healthcare’s ongoing commitment to social sustainability and human health. Each site tailored its efforts to meet the unique needs of its community through food, resources, or comfort, demonstrating that small actions, when multiplied, create lasting impact.
Our Global Highlights
From August 29 to September 5, our teams participated in local, charitable initiatives that achieved the following:
📍 American RENOLIT Corporation, Los Angeles
Employees collected and donated 706 food and hygiene items to the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank, helping families in need, including those affected by recent wildfires.
📍 RENOLIT Chile SpA
The team decorated donation boxes, filled them with essentials, and even prepared hot meals to support Comedor Fraterno Cáritas Chile, an organization dedicated to caring for vulnerable neighbors.
📍 RENOLIT Healthcare Beijing
Colleagues hosted a factory-wide book and toy drive for a special education school in Huairou, donating 110 toys and 90 books to bring joy and resources to students and teachers.
📍 RENOLIT Nederland B.V.
Our Dutch colleagues joined the Peanut Butter Challenge, contributing 110 jars of peanut butter along with financial support for Voedselbank West-Friesland, which provides food aid to families in need.
A Shared Commitment
By joining hands across continents, RENOLIT Healthcare employees transformed compassion into action. From food drives and peanut butter jars to toys, books, and hot meals, each act carried the same message: health is about caring for one another.
