Starting at RENOLIT and planning to stay.
From intern to Strategic Market Unit Sales & Marketing Manager at RENOLIT GOR S.p.A.
Immerse yourself in your professional life - in parallel with your studies.
"I joined RENOLIT for the first time in 2007 with an internship as an industrial clerk. This was followed by temporary student jobs in production planning at the head office in Worms and as a plant management assistant at the RENOLIT SE branch in Frankenthal. During my bachelor degree studies I had the opportunity to gain my first professional experience as a student trainee in the corporate communications department."
It’s not just our RENOLIT Hispania, S.A. employees who get a chance to breathe Mediterranean air!
"In 2010, my trainee programme at RENOLIT Hispania, S.A. in Villatuerta, Spain, was a dream come true for me. My responsibilities there in marketing and customer support were very diverse and I was also able to use and expand my language skills. I would never have thought that a career in a family business could be so international and varied. I then began my career as a corporate communications consultant at RENOLIT in Worms, followed by the position as Communications Manager."
A professional challenge, foreign languages, culture - RENOLIT can offer all this and more.
"Then it all went really quickly: after my Master's degree in 2016 and an intensive Italian course, I joined RENOLIT GOR S.p.A., Buriasco in Italy. There I work in the RENOLIT COMPOSITES market unit as a Sales & Marketing Manager. An ideal combination: in addition to my job at RENOLIT, I enjoy the Italian culture and way of life, day after day."
From apprentice to team leader
A passion for technology and complex machines
"Technical matters have fascinated me since I was a child. And so it was only natural for me to start my apprenticeship as a process mechanic specialising in plastics and rubber technology at RENOLIT in Worms. I completed my apprenticeship, coming top in my year, and then moved to the TPE Extrusion Centre department straight after my final examination."
Profession and further training - do they go together?
"After completing my military/national service, I began to train as a machine technician alongside my work.Although the additional burden was a challenge, with proper organisation it worked quite well.In 2011, I was promoted to shift supervisor in the TPE department. In 2014, I successfully completed my further training as a "state-certified machine technician for process engineering". As of September 2018, I supported the Head of the internal transport department as an assistant."
Efficient workflow with new structures
"At the beginning of the year, the AV, transport, shipping and finished goods warehouse departments at RENOLIT in Worms were reorganised and merged into the work preparation & logistics department. After restructuring the entire division, I took over the management of the internal transport sub-division as team leader."
