Reliability and future: Why long company affiliations make RENOLIT strong

No future without experience. Reliability and innovation are not contradictory - they belong together. That is precisely why I am proud that so many of our employees have shaped RENOLIT over decades and helped to shape change. To honor this commitment, we held an anniversary gala and honored those who celebrated a special company anniversary last year. An evening of appreciation and gratitude - and a sign that continuity is our foundation.

Long-standing employees are the foundation of our success

Those who stay with RENOLIT for decades are more than just part of the company - they keep it going. Our long-standing employees are our foundation. With their experience, expertise and reliability, they have been helping to shape RENOLIT for many years, passing on their knowledge and ensuring stability. 

The fact that so many colleagues have been with us for 10, 25 or even 40 years is anything but a matter of course. I am proud of this - and grateful for their loyalty and commitment. And yes, it also shows that RENOLIT is a company where people are happy to stay and develop.

Our anniversary gala 2025 - a memorable evening

On January 23, 2025, we honored long-serving employees for their many years of service at the CongressForum Frankenthal. It was a special evening full of recognition, memories and personal encounters - a moment to pause and to say thank you. 

Together with my colleagues on the Executive Management Board, the management of our four German sites and many companions, we were able to honor people who have helped shape RENOLIT over the decades. Their reliability and commitment make our company strong. The appreciation they received this evening is just a small expression of the gratitude we owe them every day. 

This gala once again showed that RENOLIT is not just a company - it is a community. And I am proud of that. 

From 1984 until today

You have to imagine that: Some of the employees we honored at the anniversary gala have been with RENOLIT since 1984. When they had their first day at work, the world looked very different. Ronald Reagan was in power in the USA, the country was still divided in Germany, and a few days later Apple presented the very first Macintosh computer. Cell phones filled half the trunk of a car, the Internet did not yet exist and digitization in industry was barely conceivable. 

Since then, the world has changed rapidly - and RENOLIT with it. New technologies, markets and business models have shaped our company. But one thing has remained the same: People who have shaped this change with us over decades with reliability, commitment and experience. They have not only experienced change, but have actively helped RENOLIT to reposition itself time and again. 

Today, we are facing a new chapter in which innovation takes center stage. And this is precisely where the value of long-serving employees becomes apparent: They bring with them the knowledge we need to successfully shape the future. The world of tomorrow is not created in a vacuum - it is built on experience.

Innovation and reliability are not a contradiction, but rather a recipe for success

RENOLIT is about to embark on a new chapter in which innovation takes center stage. I have already described this in detail in a blog article. But that doesn't mean that consistency is losing its value - on the contrary. True innovation requires experience, knowledge and people who know and understand the company. 

It would be a mistake to equate renewal only with new faces. Young talent brings fresh ideas - and that is precisely why we actively recruit them. But without the support and experience of those who have helped shape RENOLIT over the decades, the basis for successfully implementing these ideas is lacking. 

One thing is clear to me: sustainability comes from the right mix. We need the energy and innovative spirit of the newcomers as well as the knowledge, reliability and experience of those who have been with us for a long time. This is the only way to move RENOLIT forward. 

Experience and renewal - together into the future

The anniversary gala showed me once again what it is that makes RENOLIT so strong: people who have shaped our company for decades with their knowledge, reliability and commitment. Their experience is not a contradiction to renewal - it is the basis for it. 

It is clear to me that our future will be shaped by those who are fully committed to RENOLIT - regardless of whether they have been with us for four months or four decades. It is precisely this mixture of consistency and fresh ideas that will make us successful in the years to come. Let us continue on this path together.
