RENOLIT signs cooperation agreements with three Worms schools

The aim is to promote and support the pupils on their way into working life.

Worms, 17 May 2023 – RENOLIT will be working more closely with schools in Worms in the future. In order to support the students on their way into professional life, the plastics processing company is once again entering into cooperation agreements with the Gauß-Gymnasium, the Pfrimmtalschule and the Westend Realschule Plus. Two of the three cooperation agreements were already signed at the beginning of May. The third signing with Westend Realschule Plus took place on 17 May 2023.

The aim of the school cooperations is to give pupils an insight into the world of work and business, to support them in the vocational decision-making process and to prepare them for working life. The transition from school to employment is to be facilitated through, among other things, specialised lectures, job application training, company tours and internships.

The cooperation with the Gauß-Gymnasium has already existed for twelve years and is confirmed and expanded by the signing. "The Gauß-Gymnasium is pleased to have found a partner in RENOLIT SE that supports us in showing the students opportunities to find their way in professional life," said Dr Roland Rutschmann, coordinator of the Gauß-Gymnasium, in the course of the signing of the cooperation. "In particular, the promotion of dual courses of study is very close to both sides' hearts."

Through the cooperation agreements, RENOLIT affirms its social responsibility towards the Worms location and the region. "Coming together is a beginning. Staying together is progress. Working together is a success - this quote by Henry Ford has rarely been as true as it is today," emphasises Markus Blümle, General Manager of Corporate Human Resources at RENOLIT.

Stefania Staikou, Head of Training & Studies Germany at RENOLIT, is convinced by the school cooperations: "It is wonderful that we can make a contribution with our cooperations to bring young people in Worms and the surrounding area closer to the world of work and business so that they can better orient themselves for their future," she explains. "I would like to thank the participating schools for the good cooperation so far and I am looking forward to the exchange with the schools and especially with the pupils.“

Simone Gnädig, headmaster of the Pfrimmtalschule, sees decisive advantages in the new cooperation with RENOLIT: "The cooperation between the school and the company in the form of company tours and explorations of workplaces, internships, specialised lectures and workshops as well as career presentations and job application training encourage dialogue in a spirit of partnership and challenge active shaping of the future. The cooperation is a 'win-win situation', an agreement from which both sides benefit."

Anette Kercher, headmistress of Westend Realschule Plus, also thinks that the cooperation with the company offers added value: "I am sure that our cooperation has very profitable and stimulating aspects for both sides, which interlocks school and work more closely, opens up new opportunities for our young people and encourages them to strive for an apprenticeship."
