RENOLIT says thank you: Third anniversary gala for long-serving employees
Mayor Stephanie Lohr also honors jubilarians from all four German locations
Worms, 24 January 2025 - On 23 January 2025, RENOLIT once again hosted an anniversary gala at the CongressForum Frankenthal to honor the many years of service and commitment of the company's employees. All 113 employees at the RENOLIT sites in Worms, Frankenthal, Munich and Waldkraiburg who celebrated their 10th, 25th or 40th anniversary with the company in 2024 were invited. In addition to the jubilarians, the Executive Board, the General Manager of Corporate People & Empowerment and the Chairman of the General Works Council were also present to express their appreciation. Stephanie Lohr (Mayor of Worms), Nina Macher (Managing Director of the Worms Service Centre at the Rheinhessen Chamber of Industry and Commerce), Tim Wiedemann (Head of Regional Affairs and Customer Care at the Palatinate Chamber of Industry and Commerce), Dr. Bernd Vogler (Managing Director of the Rhineland-Palatinate Chemical Associations), Matthias Hille (Head of the IGBCE district of Mainz) and Dr. Dennis Stabler (Managing Director of Digital Hub Worms) also congratulated them.
Representatives from schools, universities and other educational partners were also guests and emphasized the company's commitment to promoting young talent and the importance of cooperation with educational institutions.
Mayor Lohr emphasized that RENOLIT is an important part of the Worms community and contributes significantly to its development. Honoring long-standing employees was also a sign of this commitment. She said: “The many people celebrating anniversaries today show how deep the bond is between RENOLIT and its employees. This strong partnership is a benefit for our city.”
Markus Blümle, General Manager Corporate People & Empowerment, opened the evening with the words: “What a special evening! It fills me with great joy and gratitude to see so many familiar faces tonight! Their many years of service is not only impressive, but also testifies to a deep bond with RENOLIT.”
The anniversary gala began with a champagne reception, which gave guests the opportunity to mingle in a pleasant atmosphere.
“It is a great pleasure for me to honor the achievements and commitment of 113 very special people at this special ceremony today,” said Karsten Jänicke, CEO of RENOLIT, in his laudatory speech. “Today we are celebrating the loyalty and dedication of employees who have been part of our corporate family for many years. On behalf of the whole of RENOLIT, I would like to thank you very much for your loyalty, dedication, energy and team spirit!”
The evening was accompanied musically by the internationally renowned singer Josefine Parka. She performed hits such as “Let's Get Loud” and “I Wanna Dance With Somebody”. Further entertainment was provided by the duo Sonambul with an impressive show of telepathy and hypnosis.
Michael Cornelius, an employee at the Worms site who is celebrating his 40th anniversary, described the evening enthusiastically: “This evening was really something special. The appreciation shown to us through this celebration is simply fantastic. It's nice to celebrate together with so many colleagues.”
