RENOLIT donation projects 2024
17 December 2024 – Once again this year, the RENOLIT Group donates to charitable organisations at Christmas time. Below you can find some more information about the donation projects:
RENOLIT SE, Worms donates to:
School project 2025 ‘Strengthening schools against discrimination’
The Commissioner for Migration, Integration and Refugee Coordination of Worms City Council is planning a major school project to mark the International Weeks against Racism 2025. A total of 27 events will take place at 7 schools in Worms, providing education and capacity building on the topics of discrimination, democracy/prevention and media.
Worms hostel for homeless people (Deutsches Rotes Kreuz Kreisverband Worms e.V.)
Since 1987, the German Red Cross has been running a hostel in Worms for homeless and homeless people. They can find temporary accommodation for up to one week a month at Klosterstraße 13. The service is available to anyone who suddenly finds themselves in an emergency situation, is stranded in Worms without means or is travelling through our city. www.drk-worms.de

RENOLIT SE, Frankenthal donates to:
Frankenthaler Tafeln
The “Frankenthaler Tafel” is meant for all citizens with a low income. The “Frankenthaler Tafel” collects surplus, top quality food and spreads it to people in need in Frankenthal. www.tafel.de, www.malteser-frankenthal.de
Street Doc
Street Doc is a cooperative project providing health care for disadvantaged groups. Doctors and dentists offer free medical care at social hot spots in the city of Ludwigshafen and surroundings of the town. This offer is for homeless people, asylum seekers or people without medical insurance. www.foerdergemeinschaft.de
A Donation was also made to “Friends and Supporters” of the Andreas-Albert-Schule, vocational school in Frankenthal

RENOLIT UK Limited, Cramlington donates to:
Pearey House Centre for the Visually Impaired
A charity which provides a social hub for blind and visually impaired adults in the local area. The donation will be used toward entertainment and transport for Pearey House service users for their Christmas lunch on 5th December. 62 people will benefit on the day. Some of our employees have also volunteered at Pearey House this year, helping the centre prepare for its annual summer fayre. www.peareyhouse.co.uk
Gaucher’s Association
Gaucher’s disease is a rare genetic disorder, which can affect the spleen and liver, as well as lungs, brain, eyes and bones. The donation will be used to fund vital research into a cure. www.gaucher.org.uk
Morpeth Mental Health Group
A charity which offers friendship and support to those living with mental health issues together with their carers. contactmorpeth.org.uk
Ellington Colliery Band
A local community brass band, based in Morpeth. It welcomes people of all ethnicities, ages, economic circumstances and playing standards. They are active in the community and play about 25 times per year, to audience of 100 to 5000. The donation will help fund a rehearsal space.

RENOLIT Chile SPA, Valparaiso donates to:
„Proyecto del Colegio Pastoral”
This project is led by Fray Manuel, a local fireman, who, with the assistance of the local community, manages to feed, daily 70+ families-in-need. Fray Manuel and a great team of volunteers cook a meal for 140+ people on a daily basis. For Christmas celebration, a special meal is made. This year, RENOLIT will donate a “pan de Pascua” (traditional Chilean cake for the holiday period) and a personal hygiene kit for each of the families assisted by this project in 2024.

RENOLIT Ibérica, S.A., Sant Celoni donates to:
Red Cross Sant Celoni and Caritas Sant Celoni
RENOLIT Ibérica, S.A. donates to the Red Cross and the Caritas organisation to support disadvantaged families in Sant Celoni.
In addition, RENOLIT Ibérica has held workshops for high school students to develop technical skills together with the Sant Celoni town council.

Photo contest “Disability - Emotions are the mirror of the soul” with the theme “Sadness”
The Care and Housing Center in Stare Babice settled the photo contest under the motto “Disability - emotions are the mirror of the soul” with the theme “Sadness” on 4 December, 2024. The competition took place in connection with the 4th celebration of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities in the local municipality. The event was organized by the Association “Our House - Living With Dignity” in Stare Babice. RENOLIT Polska donated in-kind prizes for all 9 contest participants.

Warre’s Hope
Warre had a malignant aggressive bone tumor in 2022 and had a heavy treatment. Warre is determined to contribute to the lives of children with cancer and their families. That is why he founded the non-profit organization Warre’s Hope! His goal is to continue to pay attention to the challenging journey that these children and their loved ones go through. He also wants to promote scientific research into rare childhood cancers, such as Ewing Sarcoma (the type of cancer that Warre has). warrethomas.com
