Sustainability and Compliance Manager
RENOLIT UK LTD are looking for a Sustainability and Compliance Manager, to develop and implement sustainability strategy, ensuring that the business remains compliant with all regulatory requirements.
The successful candidate will:
Influence culture to ensure sustainability is a core topic within the business.
Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business to maintain compliance and stay ahead of legislation.
Drive RGC activity to maximise re-use opportunity
Ensure the accuracy of data collection for internal and external reporting.
This role will be based at our Cramlington site, where RENOLIT has had a presence in the community for over 50 years.
We have free onsite parking and a subsidised canteen, offering a range of hot and cold meals each day.
Your tasks at RENOLIT
Collaborate with stakeholders to prepare key sustainability information for internal and external communication.
Monitor industry best practice, share and implement new initiatives
Represent business at relevant industry working groups and events.
Develop knowledge of appropriate legislation and regulations
Develop Life Cycle Assessments (LCA)
Manage sustainability and compliance team (Sustainable Process Manager, Environmental Coordinator, Management System Coordinator)
Manage waste streams and external contractors
Maintain and develop management system
Prepare gap analysis, and implement countermeasures.
Identify and drive net zero strategy
What we expect
We would expect the successful candidate to hold a relevant technical or business degree.
They would have the following skills:
Strong knowledge of environmental regulations, sustainability frameworks, and best practices.
Strategic thinker with excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to analyse data and prepare reports for various audiences.
Project management experience, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams effectively

What we offer
The salary for this role starts at £55,000 per annum.

Our hours of work are 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am to 3pm on Fridays, with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break.
