    Accounts Payable Coordinator - LaPorte, Indiana

    Your tasks at RENOLIT

    • Participate in day-to-day activities in the Accounts Payable process including reviewing invoices for proper coding, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments
    • Respond to all vendor and internal partner inquiries, reconcile vendor statements, and correct discrepancies
    • Review all payables for accuracy in coding, tax accruals (especially Use Tax), and discounts
    • Maintain vendor files including W-9’s
    • Manage the integrity of information contained in the Accounts Payable database and files so the information is retrievable for departments and intact for annual audit
    • Analyze vendor files, and prepare 1099’s for review and annual submission
    • Process employee expense reports and company credit card accounts ensuring timely and accurate general ledger posting
    • Prepares and executes payment runs in accordance with company’s policy
    • Assist with monthly and year-end Accounts Payable postings and reconciliations, including but not limited to intercompany, prepaid, payroll accounts, and other accruals
    • Maintain currency exchange rates schedule
    • Maintain detailed vendor discount listing
    • Cross-Train in Accounts Receivable
    • Provide support to external auditors during annual audit
    • Perform other related duties as assigned or requested

    What we expect

    • Associates degree in Accounting or equivalent preferred
    • 5+ years experience in Accounting or Finance, preferably in an Accounts Payable role
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills are at the forefront of this role
    • Knowledge and proficiency of basic Finance/Accounting principles and familiarity with use of Chart of Accounts
    • Intermediate MicroSoft Office and SAP experience preferred
    • Detail oriented and able to work independently as well as in a team in a fast paced environment
    • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
    • Ability to walk, stand, push, pull, reach overhead, bend, kneel, crouch and executive repetitive motions 75% of the scheduled shift.
    • Ability to lift 10- 20 lbs. periodically during the scheduled shift.
