New CE Marking and Declaration of Performance available

The Construction Products Regulation (CPR) 305/2011, effective since 1 July 2013, harmonises the methods of assessment and test, the means of declaration of product performance and the system of conformity assessment of construction products. The associated CE Marking shows that RENOLIT products are consistent with their Declaration of Performance (DoP) for the intended use.

The new CE Marking and DoP (Declaration of Performance) are available in the download section.

RENOLIT products for the roofing sector were already CE marked in 2006 under the Construction Product Directive 89/106 according the EN 13956:2005 (Plastic and rubber sheets for roof waterproofing) and were relevant according ETAG 006 (Guideline for European technical approval of systems of mechanically fastened flexible roof waterproofing membranes).

The new CPR establishes even stricter requirements for construction works concerning mechanical resistance and stability, safety in case of fire, hygiene, health and environment, safety and accessibility in use, protection against noise, energy economy and heat retention as well as the sustainable use of natural resources. The continuous surveillance at RENOLIT is performed by the Belgian Construction Certification Association.

Besides products for the roofing industry, also light transmitting sheets and building panels from RENOLIT now comply with the new CPR of the European Union. For RENOLIT the quality and the customers’ confidence are two core values. This is why the whole team took action on a daily basis to fulfil the requirements as they are written in the harmonised standard EN1013.2012** which was published in February 2013.

RENOLIT is the first European manufacturer of light transmitting sheets to affix the CE logo on its products!
