„Förderverein Klinikum Worms e.V.“ – Paediatric clinic of Worms

The paediatric clinic will soon move into its new premises in the "Mother-Child-Centre" of the clinical centre Worms. For many years, the paediatric clinic has enjoyed an excellent reputation thanks to its excellent work in Worms and the surrounding area. The re-start of the paediatric clinic will be accompanied by the purchase of a special ultrasound device that will facilitate and improve the correct diagnosis and therapy, especially for the smallest patients.

Frankenthaler Tafeln (Ecumenical association for homeless people)

There is food in abundance, in Germany nevertheless some people have to starve every day. The "Tafeln" are aiming to reach a balance in between these differences: They are collecting remaining food in good quality and give it to the needy.

Street Doc (Ecumenical association)

Street Doc is a cooperative project providing health care for disadvantaged groups. Doctors and dentists offer free medical care at social hot spots in the city of Ludwigshafen and surroundings of the town. This offer is for homeless people, asylum seekers or people without medical insurance.

The “Irmengard-Hof” at the Bavarian Lake Chiemsee is a house of recreation, exchange and encounter for families with seriously ill children and children with disabilities.

Paediatric Hematology and Oncology Centre

The Paediatric Hematology and Oncology Centre at the Dr. Hauner Children's Hospital is one of the largest paediatric oncology centres in Germany, with around 100 new admissions per year. There, an interdisciplinary team treats children and young people up to the age of 18. In addition, there is a focus on research with the aim of learning more about the diseases in order to establish new strategies for the diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Great North Children’s hospital / Ward 4, Teenage Cancer Unit

The Teenage Cancer Unit provides care for patients from 13 to 18 years old who are diagnosed with cancer. Ward 4 provides specialist services for young people, including e.g. diagnosis of all cancers, cancer, psychological support, social activities or Specialist Nurse for teenagers and young people.

American RENOLIT Corporation, La Porte donates to:

Adopting two local families in need

American RENOLIT Corporation is adopting two local families in the area that are in need, and making their Christmas a little bit brighter by purchasing the food for a Christmas dinner, along with gifts for the children/ family. This year they selected two families that need support due a serious medical condition of one of the children in each of the families. The first family includes a daughter who is 14 that recently had a brain surgery. Both parents have taken time off from their jobs to help her to recover from this surgery. The second family includes an 11-year-old girl that has a tumor on her liver. The families’ medical costs have been outrages. The support will help both families to have a nice Christmas dinner and packages under the tree.

American RENOLIT Corporation LA employees participated in the AUTISM SPEAKS Walk this year. American RENOLIT Corporation doubled the amount raised in this Walk. AUTISM SPEAKS is dedicated to promoting solutions, across the spectrum and throughout the lifespan, for the needs of individuals with autism and their families through advocacy and support; increasing understanding and acceptance of people with autism spectrum disorder; and advancing research into causes and better interventions for autism spectrum disorder and related conditions.

“Robotseny” tournament 2017

RENOLIT Ibérica, S. A. supports the "Robotseny" tournament, in which students from all the schools in Sant Celoni take part. The students have the task of building small robots from LEGO® bricks and thus master a course. The "Robotseny" competition aims to promote scientific skills in the field of robotics.
