Worms, 5 November 2015 – RENOLIT DESIGN appeared at this year's Turkish trade fair Intermob with a 50-m2 stand. Each day the trade fair recorded an increase of up to 40 percent owing to the fact that this year's trade fair dates did not coincide with religious holidays. Sedat Tasdelen, head of the RENOLIT location in Istanbul, recorded a similarly intensive flow of visitors to the stand as last year and shared his observation with the other exhibitors.
The focus of the trade fair presentation was the new 3D standard collection, which RENOLIT launched at this year's Interzum. With 35 new designs available in high-gloss, matte and super-matte, the company has aligned its stock range with current trends. The collection includes the product lines RENOLIT COVAREN and RENOLIT ALKOREN and is scheduled to run for three years.
Matte and satin on the rise
With its sophisticated, tactile surfaces, RENOLIT has certainly tapped into the current design trend in Turkey: the heyday of holographic, high-gloss décor in this market is over; glossy surfaces are shifting towards a metallic, shiny effect. Matte and satin surfaces are on the up and in demand with leading Turkish furniture producers.
With its product range RENOLIT is well positioned in all respects, reinforced by the conditions the company has established with its new sales subsidiary in Istanbul. The 470-m2 premises accommodate all personnel, as well as meeting rooms of various sizes and a small warehouse for short rolls. RENOLIT also stocks the standard range on-site in normal roll formats, enabling comparatively short delivery times and thus a further competitive advantage.
The RENOLIT Group is one of the leading international manufacturers of high-quality plastic films and associated products for technical applications. The independent family company has been setting standards in quality and innovation for more than 65 years and currently employs approximately 4,500 personnel in more than 30 production locations and sales offices. The group generated a turnover of 915.8 million euros in the 2014 financial year.
