Buriasco, 30. May 2018 – RENOLIT GOR S.p.A., a leader company providing extruded products for thermoforming, is introducing its latest outstanding product within the automotive sector, RENOLIT TECNOGOR. One among the products mostly used by the German car manufacturer.
We are talking about a composite material, obtained from a direct extrusion process of polypropylene and glass fiber, supplied as sheets or rolls. The innovation lies in its composition, as differently from the common glass mat with free fibers, RENOLIT TECNOGOR shows fully blended fibers enclosed in the sheets, thus facilitating the processing phase as well as the handling of the final piece without any risks.
Through this particular process we get a unique product, excellent in terms of safety, endurance, health and recycling. The discarded thermoformed trims due to the processing can be granulated and reintroduced into the extrusion process.
RENOLIT TECNOGOR’s properties make it one of a kind: it is 100% recyclable, being environmentally friendly; its structure is designed to be impact-resistant; it is waterproof like all RENOLIT products; it can be processed through the classical one-step process to get the complete finished part.
All these features make it the right product for interior trim, such as parcel shelves, seat back coverings, dashboard inserts and many other internal parts of the vehicle.
The product can be supplied with non-woven or film directly applied to the surfaces during the calendering phase and for any special customer demand tailor-made specific formulations can be developed. RENOLIT TECNOGOR will be presented at the Automotive Interiors Expo 2018 in Stuttgart from 5th until the 7th of June. Visit our booth A7085.
