Worms / Cologne, 13 May 2009 – In line with its newly developed trend service Colour Road, RENOLIT AG has created 15 new trend colours for the season 2009/2010 and allocated them to different life worlds.

Worms, 13 May 2009 – The RENOLIT Group has reorganised the brand structure of its Business Unit RENOLIT DESIGN. By means of three product lines and new brands, the film manufacturer has integrated the key strengths of the traditional brands Cova and Alkor which have formed part of the Group since April 2006.

Worms / Cologne, 13 May 2009 – In the "Paradise of Diversity" – this year´s motto of RENOLIT AG for Interzum – the company was presenting numerous innovations within an environment of practical applications. Part of the new decors adorned the booth´s furniture, so that the visitor was quasi having a seat at and on the company´s latest creations.

Worms, 7 May 2009 – A colourful world of experience awaits visitors of this year´s Interzum at the booth of RENOLIT AG. Under the motto "Paradise of Diversity", the Business Unit RENOLIT DESIGN presents itself in a new appearance and with a newly structured brand landscape. Moreover, Booth A010/B011 in Hall 6.1, which stretches about a surface of 350 square metres, shows numerous decorative and surface novelties.

Worms / Salzgitter / Frankenthal, 4 May 2009 – The Salzgitter production site of RENOLIT AG, with their headquarters in Worms, may be up for discussion. The Board of Directors has already informed the employee representatives and the Group´s economic committee and intends to consider socially responsible and alternative job solutions within the Group for the 102 employees who would be affected by this potential step.

Worms / Moscow, 1 December 2008 – Effective from 1 January 2009, RENOLIT AG, Worms, will take over its long-time trading partner. OOO RENOLIT in Moscow. The appropriate contract has been signed on 6 October 2008. The company will henceforth trade under the name of OOO RENOLIT-Rus and is likewise located in Moscow.

Ouenaarde, 16 September 2008 - From the 1st of September, RENOLIT Belgium is the first company within the RENOLIT group  producing green electricity. On top of the roof of the raw material warehouse  in Oudenaarde, two test sites with photovoltaic elements are fully operational.

On a sunny day the peak capacity of this solar installation is a modest 10kW.  The solar energy market is expanding  substantially and concrete plans for bigger projects are already in the pipeline.

One thing is  for sure, with the realization of this photovoltaic project RENOLIT Belgium takes another step into the world of green energy and ecological roofing solutions.  

Worms, 12 September 2008 – With effect from 1 September 2008, Karsten Jänicke (40) has taken over general responsibility as Head of the RENOLIT Group’s RENOLIT DESIGN Business Unit, which is located in Worms.

Worms / Essen, 23. June 2008 – RENOLIT AG, Worms, is expanding its research activities by acquiring a 25,2 per cent share in SUNCOAT GmbH, located in Zittau in the German federal state of Saxony. The European Commission has granted clearance to the acquisition of joint control on June 13, 2008.

La Porte (Indiana), June 10, 2008 – American RENOLIT Corporation (ARC) located in La Porte, Indiana, USA, has put into operation a fourth calender unit and has thereby created 24 additional jobs. This investment project has required a construction period of 12 months and will start its series production in the middle of June.

Worms / Gurgaon, 29th May 2008 – With effect as of 22nd May 2008, RENOLIT AG, Worms has launched a sales subsidiary in India. Under the company name Renolit India Private Limited, the new office is opening up the markets in India and adjoining countries in South Asia for high-grade technical plastic films and thereby bolstering the sales of RENOLIT manufactured goods.

Worms, 11 December 2007 RENOLIT AG, Worms, is presently in the process of acquiring the furniture film operations of Benecke-Kaliko AG of Hanover according to plan. The Federal Cartel Office has approved the transaction negotiated in July of this year. In return, RENOLIT transfers its automotive film production operations, which are located in Munich, to Benecke-Kaliko AG, a subsidiary of the Continental Group.

Worms / Padua, 24 July 2007 – With effect from 1 July 2007, RENOLIT AG, Worms has taken over Intercom Tecnodecor Spa, which is based in Padua, Italy. The trading company had previously worked together successfully for 40 years with Alkor GmbH Kunststoffe, Munich, which has been part of the RENOLIT Group since April 2006.

Worms, 20 July 2007 - RENOLIT AG continues to expand its global presence. In July 2007, a representative office was opened in Bucharest, in order to better support the customers in Eastern Europe.

The sales division RENOLIT DESIGN was once again this year an exhibitor at the furniture trade show in Poznan, Poland. The trade show FURNICA took place from April 24 - 27, 2006 and is known as the new specialized trade show for furniture suppliers. Poland is one of the world's biggest furniture exporters which makes it one of the most important target markets for all suppliers of the furniture industry.

This year, the furniture suppliers' part was separated from the traditional finished furniture show MEBLE. FURNICA offers the complete spectrum of furniture supply including preliminary products and production technology. In the past years, suppliers from all over Europe were exhibiting at MEBLE. For FURNICA and its partner show DREMA, approximately 10,000 visitors were expected. Both shows had about 700 exhibitors.

Worms, 24 October 2005 – With its new film generation RENOLIT FAST, the RENOLIT AG, based in Worms, Germany, is setting new standards for films used outdoors: The high-performance film is unaffected by climatic fluctuations and conditions, no matter how extreme, so plastic products coated with this film surface can be used worldwide. RENOLIT FAST ensures color-fastness and high gloss stability over the entire life cycle of the profile. Furthermore, the film is chemical-resistant – even aggressive special cleaning agents cannot harm it.

This innovation is based upon many years of research and development with extensive test and trial runs. With the so-called Xenotest, one of the crucial long-term weathering tests, the weathering resistance of the film can be determined by means of time-lapse photography. Over thousands of hours, film specimens with various decors were exposed to artificial, time-accelerated weathering, thus simulating many years of exposure to high sun intensity and fluctuating weathering conditions. ...

Worms, 30th June 2005:– The new furniture colour collection has arrived and it couldn’t be more different. The new palette is already creating a sense of surprise and bold enthusiasm. So which creative influences and factors play an important role in this dramatic shift?

Monika Fecht, Head of Design Management at RENOLIT AG, Worms, culled ideas from many courses: “Fashion is definitely the pacesetter when it comes to colour trends. Consequently we consulted the German Fashion Institute in Frankfurt am Main, took the colour range of the Colour Marketing Group into account and evaluated trends in Paris”. To this must be added our own observations made at trade fairs and exhibitions. The findings gathered in this manner influenced the creation of the new uni-colours series, set new points of emphasis in wood finishing and formed the basis for trend combinations in widely differing surface designs. ...
