Each of RENOLIT´s vinyl films is specifically formulated to provide optimum performance when the adhesive coated laminate is applied to substrates having varying opacities—e.g. opaque, translucent and transparent substrates. Since the vinyl is viewed with light transmitted though the film in translucent and transparent substrate applications, homogeneous color dispersion is vital to achieving a uniform appearance. Films for Adhesion to Opaque Substrates RENOLIT's plasticized vinyl films for adhesive-coating are utilized for laminating to opaque surfaces for labelstock and sheet applications, digital print applications, and plotter (computer-cut) applications, together with stencil and paint mask vinyl films. Formulation of the vinyl depends upon final application requirements. A wide variety of surface finishes is available, from high gloss, semi-gloss and low-gloss to matte and textures. Gauge range from 2.8 to 6 mils, with widths from 40 to 72 inches. Films for Adhesion to Translucent Substrates RENOLIT's polymeric plasticized vinyl films for adhesive-coating offer special pigment systems and excellent dimensional stability required for demanding back-lit applications. Films for Adhesion to Transparent Substrates RENOLIT's plasticized vinyl films for adhesive-coating are utilized for lamination to clear glass-like surfaces for decoration. High gloss colored films with excellent transparency for 'see-through' applications are available, together with embossed and tinted effects for glass-etch applications. |
